The City University Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing programme is the first low-residency MFA to be established in Asia, and the only programme in the world with a specific focus on Asian writing.
Timothy Mo
Visiting Writer - Summer 2010
Timothy Mo is a leading figure in contempor- ary British fiction and world literature. He has published six novels, and has won such literary prizes as the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize (1979), the Hawthornden Prize (1983), the E.M. Forster Award (1992), and the James Tait Black Award (1999). He is in the first rank of contemporary novelists writing about such issues as cultural hybridity, decoloni- sation, globalisation, and migration.
